BIO

Prof. Ossorgin teaches Russian literature, art, theology, and language courses at Fordham University at Lincoln Center where he is thrilled to be a conduit for your Russian experience. His introduction to Russian culture was in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where his grandfather founded a small Russian Orthodox community. He decided to master Russian when he read Russian literature, especially Dostoevsky, Gogol, Chekhov, and Tolstoy. He studied Russian at Princeton, Middlebury, and Columbia and completed his Ph.D. in Slavic Languages at Columbia University in 2016.
